With
St. Patrick’s Day creeping up this coming Monday, the 163rd Annual
San Francisco St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held tomorrow, Saturday, March
15 at 11:30am. Starting at the corner of Market and Second Street, there will
be over a hundred colorful floats, Irish dance groups, and marching bands
making their way toward Civic Center Plaza, where the parade will conclude.
The
theme of this year’s event? “A Tribute to the Irish Workers of America,”
celebrating the city’s Irish culture and history, presented by the United Irish
Societies of San Francisco. You can get more information on the parade over at
its facebook page, at www.facebook.com/SaintPatricksDaySF.
